The word REconnect may bring to mind getting together with long lost friends or family. Catching up and getting to know each other, remembering old times, retelling stories and looking forward to the future.
The way we have interpreted the word is a a bit more selfish. It is a chance to REconnect with yourself, find out what your interest and talents are, remember old ideas and giving yourself time to delve into those ideas and especially making plans and goals for the future.
Adult Creative Workshops
We have met many people who are dreaming of doing a creative project, but lack the resources or push they need to begin it or complete it. So therefor we have created these adult creative workshops. REconnect is for those who dream of writing, painting, designing, drawing, sewing, running, dancing, etc. who dream of producing something with their own hands and their own ideas.
Besides finally investing in yourself and truly working on your own dreams and ideas there are other exciting opportunities with REconnect;
• You will have access to Turtlewings resources such as; Creative Materials and tools, computers and creative programs and an amazing library of creative resources.
• Networking, something we all know is important, but find very little time for.
• Discover new techniques in art, design and creative thinking.
• Learn or find new inspiration for journalling.
• Get over creative blocks and fear of failure.
• Recognize and use your creative talents
• Relax and give yourself time to do creative work
• Work collaboratively

This year we will be working intensely with a book called “How to become an explorer of the world.” Each session will have new projects and inspirational ideas for you to grow your creative passions. At the end of the year Turtlewings will host an exhibition for the REconnect members spotlighting their talents and idea collections.
